ADOREUM CLUB BRUNCH AT BIRCH WITH DURO OYE

On Friday 1st April, we were at the beautiful @birchcommunity hosting an Adoreum Club Roundtable brunch with award winning social enterprise @2020change.

@mr.oye, the organisations Founder and CEO gave a powerful and important talk on ‘recognising dignity in the most uncommon places’. We were lucky to hear moving stories from four inspirational Alumni of the flagship ‘I AM CHANGE’ programme, about the direct and life changing impact it has had on their lives.

The programme has already helped around 1200 young people since its launch and is looking to help many more by branching out to other cities around the country.

An important takeaway from today’s talks was that everyone can do something to help, even the smallest piece of advice or guidance can give someone the assurance they need to start taking steps in the right direction. Not only will this help the individual it can also create a knock-on effect and make an impact on many more lives.

We are passionate about bringing together unlike-minded business leaders, philanthropists, entrepreneurs, investors, academics, creative visionaries and decision makers who believe in using their collective influence for good, to foster innovation and accelerate positive transformation towards a more equitable and sustainable future. The work Duro and his team at 2020 Change have done to date and are continuing to do is truly exceptional and Adoreum are excited to support you to create a Britain in which there is true inclusion in the workplace and unemployment no longer affects young black people disproportionately.
