On Wednesday 3rd November, we enjoyed a gorgeous afternoon tea at The Langham hotel in their restaurant Roux at the Landau, and were joined by guest speaker and entrepreneur Stephen Kirk.
Serial entrepreneur and author, Stephen Kirk, has one of the first Computer Science Degrees and has seen the emergence of computer technology from its inception. Beginning his working career as a Systems Analyst and Computer Programmer, he soon realised he was not cut out for a ‘normal’ career and chucked it all in to become a meditation teacher only to be struck with a sudden urge to go into business. He has since gone on to launch, manage and sell three ground-breaking businesses in tech and telecoms, and has served on the Boards of companies in media and technology.
During the talk, Stephen spoke about his own background as an entrepreneur and his recent book ‘The Authentic Entrepreneur’, a brilliant book for those who are not only interested in making money, but also in giving something back and growing, personally, in the process, perfectly aligning with the Adoreum ethos.
It was an inspiring afternoon and of course, fabulous to see our community.
