On Wednesday 20th October, members of the Adoreum network were welcomed by @burberry to enjoy an Intimate dinner to celebrate the launch of its new global Outerwear campaign, officially released 19th October, which is a journey of freedom and imagination.
With the store exclusively to themselves our guests were welcomed with music and champagne followed by a private tour of the store built in 1820 for Prince Regent. Among other uses, it was home to the new Gallery cinema and still houses the third Wurlitzer theatre organ to b e shipped to the UK in 1925, it is hidden behind the impressive store screen but is still tuned annually.
From what would have been the Upper Circle, guest were treated to a supper setting that offered spectacular views of the store and a three course meal prepared by @merlin_johnson, Michelin Star chef and owner of Osip in Bruton Somerset.
At @osiprestaurant there are no menus as part of the dining experience. Instead, guests are invited to put their faith in the kitchen, knowing that we will cook using ingredients that we have cultivated on their two plots of land nearby. What arrives at their doorstep that day is what is served for lunch and dinner the same day. This approach would make every day our favourite day!
