What a year it was! We put on over 60 events, launched the Adoreum Club North in Manchester, re-launched in Zurich and welcomed over 100 new members. We now have members based in London, Manchester and the North West, Zurich, NYC, LA, Charleston, Amsterdam, Paris, Berlin and Dublin.
This month we have hosted a pair of breakfasts at the wonderful Fair Shot Café as part of our highly curated Sum of Six events. We brought together six members for each event that we were sure would have great chemistry, spark interesting conversations and initiate meaningful relationships.
Computer Aid is a non-profit organisation that is dedicated to closing the technological divide. On the 27th of May we hosted a breakfast event at The Berkeley with Computer Aid which featured an informative and eye-opening talk from Keith Sonnet, Computer Aids CEO, and Adoreum Senior Advisor, Dominic McVey who is also the Chairman of the Board at Computer Aid. The breakfast got everyone talking about how they can better manage their e-waste and brought awareness to the seriousness of the technological divide, especially during COVID.
On Thursday 25th November, we hosted a Club breakfast with founder of charity, Alike, Brad Gudger, at M Restaurant Victoria. After years of working with groups and charities, and being inspired by the peer support he experienced, Brad wanted to find a way to use the technology around us to combat loneliness, specifically for people with cancer. Alike is a first of its kind organisation, combining not-for-profit passion for change with the ingenuity and innovation of a tech start-up. It creates an opportunity to build friendships and be part of a community that doesn’t just support, but understands.
