EXPERIMENT#11 AT THE MANDRAKE HOTEL

On Monday 19th July as restrictions were lifted, the Adoreum Club were delighted to host the first event in our new EXPERIMENT# series. Serendipitous in feeling but perfectly curated these events create a rare alchemy in an otherwise algorithm led world. Centered around being in the present moment – the people, the places, the perspectives.  These events have been designed to evoke positive feelings and help fulfil our mission to join the spirit of people – our collective vision, energy, humanity.

Our first host was the magical Mandrake, a luxury boutique hotel hidden in the heart of Fitzrovia.  Named after a plant whose root is said to have hallucinogenic properties, the Mandrake promises an “immersive” experience unlike any other London hotel.  Their eclectic, vibrant interiors were the perfect canvas for our Summer Solstice theme.

The night started with a fruity, summer inspired cocktail prepared by the famous Waseka bar, enjoyed in the courtyard alongside which bathed in the last of the evening light and filled with the scent of Jasmine and passionflower wafting from the open three floors above. This was followed by a dinner with set sharing menus provided by YOPO, allowing our guests to indulge in amazing cuisine inspired from Modern European and Southern American origins. The tables were completed by a remarkable tropical flower display courtesy of Maison de Fleurs, a leading international florist with a reputation for creativity, sophistication and integrity which works with iconic brands and luxury clients for exclusive venues around the globe. This was combined by gold plated printing courtesy of the Leeming Brothers, a luxury stationery company with an eye for quality. The spiritual scene was further complimented by esteemed astrologer Debbie Frank who prepared personalised birth charts for each guest, printed in lavish gold leaf again by Leeming Brothers.

Mid- course we were treated to a musical feast from The London Essentials, an immersive musical experience facilitated by a band of five gentlemen who specialise in raising the standard, pulse and temperature of parties around the world. Following the dinner, more cocktails were enjoyed in the Waeska bar, an eye-catching bar home to a collection of treasured artificers, priceless artworks all housed behind the expansive labradorite bar.

Our overnight guests were spoilt further by hand delivered gifts from LA EVA and Hamilton & Hare in each bedroom and breakfast was enjoyed the next morning on the Jurema terrace with a special signing of Debbie’s book.

It was truly spectacular to see many of our members in the same room again, embodying the core of ethos of Adoreum of unleashing the compassionate entrepreneurial spirit.
