On Thursday 25th May Adoreum members made their way to the Birch Community’s latest location in Selsdon for an Adoreum Club Lunch. Their Selsdon property, 10 minutes from East Croydon railway station – which itself is less than 30 mins from central London – provides 200 acres of nature in which to immerse yourself and our members did just that after a languid lunch.
The weather was perfect, which helped reinforce the appeal of so much nature on London’s doorstep. For many of us, the realisation that this escape is so convenient ensured that this reconnection with nature and inner peace would only be the first of many visits. In Birch’s own words “a reminder of life’s best bits: art, music, craft, food, drink, nature and wellness.” And of course, a long lunch and a lazy walk make for the best of conversations.
Following lunch, SKOOT planted more trees on Adoreum’s behalf. We’ve now planted 250 trees and countered 2.48 tonnes of emissions. We are proud to be a Skoot climate conscious. It takes a lot of committed and passionate partners to help create a memorable experience and we would like to thank our lunch and afternoon sponsors:
Our events and opportunities for connection are both plentiful and varied – every one made special by our membership.
